Hola AUNZ Film Festival trae por primera vez a la Ciudad de México lo mejor del Cine Australiano y Neozelandés en una fiesta cinematográfica del próximo 28 de Noviembre al 6 de Diciembre de 2013.
Nuestro festival se desprende del Festival Hola México (presente en Estados Unidos y Australia) mismo que este año estará celebrando su 8va edición. Con una asistencia que rebasa los 25,000 asistentes el Festival, Hola México se ha posicionado como uno de los eventos más importantes para la promoción del Cine Mexicano en estos dos países.
Hola AUNZ Film Festival nace con la intención de fortalecer a las industrias cinematográficas de México, Australia y Nueva Zelandia, al ofrecer una plataforma única de vinculación que promueva el intercambio de ideas y la realización de proyectos creativos internacionales, que contribuya al desarrollo de una economía competitiva, incentivando la coproducción y promoviendo así la distribución y el desarrollo de mercados y audiencias.
El Festival se llevará a cabo del 28 de Noviembre al 6 de Diciembre de 2013 y presentará un total de 19 películas que incluirán largometrajes, cortometrajes, animación y documentales. Contaremos con eventos y actividades para profesionales de la industria del cine, estudiantes, prensa y público en general. Hola AUNZ Film Festival se desarrollará en 4 sedes en la Ciudad de México: Cineteca Nacional, Cinépolis Universidad, Cine Tonalá y la Casa del Cine. Estimamos una audiencia de 3,500 personas.
The first edition of the Hola AUNZ Film Festival, to take place from November the 28th to December the 6th 2013, is a cinematographic celebration that will bring the best contemporary films of Australia and New Zealand.
Our festival is part of two other festivals: the Hola Mexico Film Festival (Australia) which will be having its 8th edition this October and the Hola Mexico Fest whose 5th edition took place in Los Angeles (United States) in May. These festivals have received over 25,000 attendees, therefore becoming a platform of paramount importance for Mexican Films in those two markets.
The main goal behind The Hola AUNZ Film Festival is to create new links while strengthening those that exist between the film industries of Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. The aforementioned goal is achieved by offering a unique joint platform that promotes the exchange of ideas and the emergence of international creative projects. Additionally, the festival promotes the development of a competitive economy by encouraging coproduction, raising market awareness and generating audience growth.
The festival will screen 19 films (long and short films). Alongside the festival other related activities will take place. Amongst these some will be film industry related, while others will be focused on students, media and the general public. The Hola AUNZ Film Festival will be screened in four different venues: Cineteca Nacional, Cinépolis Universidad, Cine Tonalá and Casa del Cine. Attendance to these events is calculated at around 3,500 people.
