Hola AUNZ Film Festival es una fiesta cinematográfica que trae a la Ciudad de México lo mejor del Cine Australiano y Neozelandés. Nuestro festival se desprende del Festival Hola México (presente en Estados Unidos y Australia); con una asistencia que rebasa los 25,000 asistentes el Festival, Hola México se ha posicionado como uno de los eventos más importantes para la promoción del Cine Mexicano en estos dos países.
Hola AUNZ Film Festival nace con la intención de fortalecer a las industrias cinematográficas de México, Australia y Nueva Zelandia, al ofrecer una plataforma única de vinculación que promueva el intercambio de ideas y la realización de proyectos creativos internacionales, que contribuya al desarrollo de una economía competitiva, incentivando la coproducción y promoviendo así la distribución y el desarrollo de mercados y audiencias.
El Festival se llevará a cabo del 24 de noviembre al 4 de Diciembre de 2016 y presentará un total de 7 películas que incluirán largometrajes y documentales. Este año, buscamos fortalecer las relaciones con los principales centros de estudios universitarios de cinematografía en México, por ellos, ofreceremos funciones gratuitas en el Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos – CUEC y el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica – CCC; además, la presencia del festival en Cinépolis Universidad.
HOLA AUNZ Film Festival is a cinematographic celebration that brings to Mexico City a selection of the best contemporary films from Australia and New Zealand.
Our festival is part of two other festivals: the Hola Mexico Film Festival (Australia) which will be had its 9th edition this October and the Hola Mexico Fest whose 7th edition took place in Los Angeles (United States) in May. These festivals have received over 25,000 attendees, therefore becoming a platform of paramount importance for Mexican Films in those two markets.
The main goal behind The Hola AUNZ Film Festival is to create new links while strengthening those that exist between the film industries of Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. The aforementioned goal is achieved by offering a unique joint platform that promotes the exchange of ideas and the emergence of international creative projects. Additionally, the festival promotes the development of a competitive economy by encouraging coproduction, raising market awareness and generating audience growth.
The second edition of the HOLA AUNZ Film Festival will take place from the 24th of November to the 4th of December 2016 and will be screened at three venues in the city: Cinépolis Universidad, Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos -CUEC y el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica – CCC.
